Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”
UPDATE: California Gov. Jerry Brown issues ineffectual, mandatory water restriction as one-third of our nation’s crops are threatened. See Page 3 for updates.

Too many people in commifornia!
As smart as liberals claim to be. You would think one of them would have figured out the water shortage problem. Hmmmm
Cheap real-estate here I come.
One of the unspoken problems with California is that the population far exceeds the natural environments ability to replenish and store water. Maybe if Governor Moonbeam took the 90 billion for his toy choo choo to nowhere…and used the funds for storage and desalination we might survive this debacle.

Hummm, well I’m not a liberal, an environmentalist or a hippie. I’m a realist and I consider myself a Christian so I try really hard to look at the big picture. I don’t deny that California rubs people the wrong way or are pretentious with their ideals but they are still part of our nation and if this drought was happening in any other state people would be a lot more worried. Hence, I believe this is just the beginning of severe droughts in the West so yes we should be worried instead of mocking.
A simple explaination:

It couldn’t happen to a better bunch of liberals and illegals
No one will care until Immigrant Californians start moving East.
