Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”
UPDATE: California Gov. Jerry Brown issues ineffectual, mandatory water restriction as one-third of our nation’s crops are threatened. See Page 3 for updates.

So , why would California be one of the few states with open arms to allow the illegals to live there , knowing that they have no water supply for the millions of additional residents ?
Don’t the legal residents and citizens that work and pay taxes have priority over the millions if new illegal immigrants living in the state ? And shouldn’t this have been a major factor in the states decision to take in all these illegal immigrants , before they decided to give them all drivers licenses , drawing more to come there ?
Limit water on households, outlaw lawns, this is your food you crazy people! No water increase for farmers? Those people are getting what they asked/voted for. I think Arizona should turn off the tap.
2011, is this not the 3rd year of BHO days in office. So who is the culprit here, The other guy did it, right. or blame it on Moon beam Jerry and the ‘Smelt” a useless fish.
They have a plan – more taxes.
But look at all that river side beach!

People’s republic of California.hope an earthquake slides them off into the ocean. Just think of the cleansing
Scary!
So now what are the liberals of the west coast going to do now that they have foolishly watch their water disappear as they fill their swimming pools and wash their cars?
Move water from where? No other state is willing to give up billions of gallons of water. This crisis is not isolated to California, it is just the most urgent there.
