Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”

What I’m saying is this could have been prevented under better leadership, but California is controlled by fascists that allowed this to happen on purpose to profit from it.
And for the record, anthromorphic global warming had been debunked by thousands of climatologists and scientists. Last year the UN scientists admitted to falsifying data to make it look like global warming was occuring. In fact, many scientists are now saying the earth is in a cooling trend and some even say we could be entering an ice age in a few decades because of the sun’s inactivity.
Well we shall see. I still think we all need to work together to fix this planet. Because we only have one planet. The government needs to move away from fossil fuels. And work on clean energy. But how do you guys explain the melting ice caps. They are disappearing. I just don’t see how you guys can not see the facts. The ocean temp is rising. 10,000 seals have washed up on my he California coast. The fish are moving to deeper water due to the rising temp making it harder for seals to hunt. Polar bears may be extinct in the next 100 years. The earth is dying people holy c**p. How can this be the start of a new ice age. Just because it’s snowing on the east coast.
