The Obama administration has directed the military to not allow personnel to say “Christmas”, in spite of the holiday’s status as a federally-recognized holiday.
The reason given by armed forces officials is that not everyone celebrates Christmas and that out of respect for them, military members should refer to Christmas celebrations simply as “holiday”-themed festivities.
This prohibition comes in the context of a wider push for political correctness in society in general and the military in particular, as evidenced by the recent reprimanding of Navy Chaplain Wes Modder for simply discussing religion, as chaplains are wont to do, with military personnel.
See how servicemen have reacted to not being allowed to say Christmas at the link below:

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everybody and peace be in your hearts
FU== YOU
I would hate to be this man when he has to stand in front of God and explain hmself. He’s pure evil.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas you DISGRACE!!!!!!
Fire truck Obama racist traitor mud packer muslim
Merry Christmas Obama to bad if you think your going to dictate to us. Not happening forget it. Muslim
My daughter’s in the AF and she’s allowed to talk about her faith–just not push it on others. Last year the people in her office came over and sang Christmas Carols with us. People need to learn to be considerate of others and relationships with people and they”ll have fewer problems.
What happened to freedom of speech? Oh yes, that is only for Muslims!
How long is Congress and our Senators going to put up with this bull c**p from someone that does not care about this country or the people? Our Military needs all the prayers and care that is available and that includes their rights they are fighting for such as the 1st Amendment. Obama, have you heard about the 1st Amendment? If not maybe you should enlighten yourself by reading the Constitution. It is not near as long as your Obama Care package.
