The Obama administration has directed the military to not allow personnel to say “Christmas”, in spite of the holiday’s status as a federally-recognized holiday.
The reason given by armed forces officials is that not everyone celebrates Christmas and that out of respect for them, military members should refer to Christmas celebrations simply as “holiday”-themed festivities.
This prohibition comes in the context of a wider push for political correctness in society in general and the military in particular, as evidenced by the recent reprimanding of Navy Chaplain Wes Modder for simply discussing religion, as chaplains are wont to do, with military personnel.

The term “political correctness” is a farce, at best. This is just the government’s way of conforming society. I’m protesting PC because it offends me and my religious beliefs that date back to the establishment of the very government that is trying to conform me to their way of thinking. That’s just another way of chiseling away at our 1st Amendment rights to freedom of speech. Notice they start with that which they actually can control…the military. This is what I have to say to that: MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!!

This is a violation of freedom of speech. Now who wants to ask if Obama is a Christian? A President over a Christian Nation signing an executive order like this. May the Lord Jesus send judgment to his head.
Respect everyone no matter what is their color , Religious, and social class. . But now feel free to say ” Merry Christmas ” if you are Christian,or Catholic.
