The Obama administration has directed the military to not allow personnel to say “Christmas”, in spite of the holiday’s status as a federally-recognized holiday.
The reason given by armed forces officials is that not everyone celebrates Christmas and that out of respect for them, military members should refer to Christmas celebrations simply as “holiday”-themed festivities.
This prohibition comes in the context of a wider push for political correctness in society in general and the military in particular, as evidenced by the recent reprimanding of Navy Chaplain Wes Modder for simply discussing religion, as chaplains are wont to do, with military personnel.

Oh really. Who made him king?
Yes and I went to a Catholic school for 4 years and dealt with nuns and the principal was a nun too

Burn in hell
Impeachment anybody?
Wrong Mr. Fletcher. Greed and envy has been the root cause of nearly every war in history. It’s called the Homan condition ; someone wants what you have. Your statement that religion has been the cause is just a scapegoat. More times than not both sides follow the same faith. For examle, why did Iran and Iraq have a war? They are both Muslim. So was Iraq and Kuwait. It always goes back to the two basic sins; greed and envy.
Its a declared national holiday
MERRY CHRISTMAS PRESIDENT OBAMA!
