Michelle Complains About Growing Up in the U.S.
In spite of living a seemingly blessed life, Ms. Obama was more interested in complaining about her difficult upbringing, and based on her comments it seems that her ultimate success was due only to her tenacity, ability, and her parents who provided the nurturing and support needed to overcome the odds of a disapproving world.
“Back when I was a girl, even though I was bright and curious and I had plenty of opinions of my own, people were often more interested in hearing what my brother had to say. And my parents didn’t have much money; neither of them had a university degree. So when I got to school, I sometimes encountered teachers who assumed that a girl like me wouldn’t be a good student. I was even told that I would never be admitted to a prestigious university, so I shouldn’t even bother to apply.”
“Like so many girls across the globe, I got the message that I shouldn’t take up too much space in this world. That I should speak softly and rarely. That I should have modest ambitions for my future. That I should do what I was told and not ask too many questions. But I was lucky, because I had parents who believed in me, who had big dreams for me. They told me, don’t ever listen to those who doubt you. They said, just work harder to prove them wrong.”

It is astonishing to hear such a story from one who must have gotten a great deal of support and encouragement from many sources besides her parents. I am sure that she had teachers, counselors, and even friends and parents of friends who provided some aspect of support to help make her achieve as she did.
There are plenty of young people who are bright and curious that never have the opportunity to attend Harvard or gain the level of success that Ms. Obama has obtained. It is very sad indeed that she can only see the dark side of her history, and that she has apparently forgotten the many helping hands that no doubt helped lift her along the way.
One must conclude that Ms Obama has a serious character flaw to have such a limited memory of the good in her past, and this is certainly not the type of person suited to being presented as a roll model.

AS she takes our money and has lavish vacations on our dime. She should be kicked out of the country.

When ever she speaks all I hear is bla bla bla and my reply is did she just say something
I would imagine that as a child, she was probably a spoiled brat. Everytime we hear from her, she is whining about something. She complains that her family did not have much money. Apparently they had enough to send her to one of the most expensive colleges in the country. I doubt that she has ever done a real full days work. She needs to grow up and quit whining.
