McCain’s Call for Release of Trump Tax Return is Really Cry for Help

With the new day comes the new suggestion by Senator John McCain (R-AZ) that President Trump has done something “terribly” wrong.  McCain’s latest tantrum revolves around his demands for the release of Trump’s tax returns.

Here’s the video, courtesy of his buddies over at CNN:

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the animosity that McCain appears to have toward the president.  In just a quick look back at the once-extinct volcano known as Mount McCain, we can see that he spouts off once every few weeks about how displeased he is regarding all things Trump.

In the following video, McCain sucker-punches Trump at the Munich Security Council, pandering to the global community about how Trump’s anti-terrorism stance is hurting our relations with Muslims:

In another little fit of temper, McCain actually railed against Trump’s Russian policies…before they had even been revealed!  In his remarks, he bemoaned the “reckless” policies that Trump had adopted toward Russia, fearing that we would be opening ourselves up to more security breaches.

Another stunning example of McCain’s outright aggressive obsession with Trump was his friendly-territory CBS interview regarding the administration’s handling of the Syrian crisis.  Following the Tomahawk missile strike on a Syrian chemical base, McCain went on the attack:

McCain responded to remarks that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson made at the end of March, before the attack, including comments that the Syrian people would determine Assad’s fate, and that removing him from power isn’t a top priority.

“I think it probably was partially to blame,” McCain said. “And Secretary Tillerson basically saying the same thing after kind of contradicting himself and then saying the same thing argues vigorously for a plan and a strategy. As I said again, taking this action I support and was important.”

McCain also said he does “not agree” with Tillerson’s position that the U.S. needs to concentrate on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) before it can further address Assad’s purported brutality against his own people, saying ISIS and Assad are “totally connected issues.”

And in a truly spineless moment of Liberal-sycophantic behavior, McCain broke with the Conservative base once again to denounce the president, saying that his (and the American people’s) stance against terrorism was, in fact, the catalyst for Muslim hatred of the United States.  This, following the senator’s now-infamous trip to Syria where he was photographed having tea and crumpets with Muslim Brotherhood “freedom fighters.”

What this all boils down to is a far-removed and deeply held belief on McCain’s part that he was supposed to be the winning candidate in 2008.  McCain’s fantasy about signing executive orders and saving the United States from itself through Establishment-issued edicts still ruminates in his mind.

McCain suffers from a delusional narrative that the American people really wanted him to be the president over Barack Obama (when in reality he was soundly rejected by many in his own party) and believes that the Trump phenomenon is merely a displaced adoration of John McCain, hero of the working class American.

The day will come when this man finally retires and he’s sitting in his rocking chair, writing his memoirs, when a small pang of guilt will rise up in his throat.  He’ll come to grips with reality and know in that moment that HE was the one who America rejected.

Then he will blithely push that sentiment aside as he begins a new chapter of retiring in his many mansions and summer homes, all on the dime of the American taxpayer.
