Cantankerous Arizona Senator John McCain hasn’t mellowed at all after his diagnosis of brain cancer following removal of a tumor.
The 81-year old has been a persistent thorn in the side of President Donald Trump, even since the president was still a candidate working for the Republican nomination. McCain has steadfastly tried to distinguish the GOP as a party with separate values from those of Trump.
McCain keeps up his steady drumbeat of anti-Trump rhetoric, knowing the mainstream media will provide him with a megaphone any time he seeks one.
On Thursday, the self-styled maverick provided an op-ed to the Washington Post that continued to stake out his position vis-à-vis the president.

Who does he answer to? It’s not the American President. It’s not the citizens of the country. So who is it? Who do you answer to? What do you whisper in the dark of night? I am not a crook! I am not a traitor! Prove it!
Hell, even liberal California doesn’t want trader “Song bird” McCain! They should give him a one way ticket to North Korea, Iran, or hell. But I suspect old “Song bird” misses his good old days in Vietnam, where he was able to sell out his country, and fellow servicemen non-stop until they had no further use for the worthless sad excuse for cat excrement. He should have been tried & executed for high treason decades ago. But his daddy was a Navy Admiral, and his second wife (after cheating on, dumping & divorcing his first wife who was badly scared, disfigured and wheel-chair ridden from an auto accident) was a mega-millionaire. So with that Naval clout and money, despite crashing about five planes. In his last screw-up he was so screwed up that he released his entire bomb load on the deck of the carrier his plane was parked on, which cause a cascading explosions with other plains awaiting rake-off! While heroic crewmen where trying to put out the fires, and rescue the wounded, where was McCain? He ran off the deck, to a captain’s lounge below deck, and watched “real men” put out his fires and explosions from a cushy recliner and closed circuit TV! In just that one act, he causing the deaths of about 135 fellow crew men on his last screw up, yet because of his daddy’s connections and his second wife’s wealth, he was awarded 28 medals for only 20 hours of flight time, or about 1.5 medals per hour! Any other pilot who crashed even on plain, that would have been the end of his pilot carrier. So many other service men put in many hundreds, even many thousands of combat hours, but never received a single metal. My father few way over 25 bomb g missions over Germany during WWII, ran into burning crash-land planes to pull out badly wounded service men, and never received a single metal. While he was a POW, he justly earned the nickname “Songbird” from his fellow POWs, for betraying & informing on his country and his fellow servicemen to the enemy, causing the lives of untold thousands of fellow servicemen, until the enemy had no further use for him. And when he got back home, he did his best to try to hide the fact that there were other POWs left behind in POW camp , … probably so those fellow POWs couldn’t testify to how badly McCain betrayed and sold-out his own country while he was a POW. Because McCain repeatedly lied during the POW hearing, and used his influence to hide the existence of POWs left behind in POW camp, those POWs who didn’t dye from torture, illness or starvation, were probably executed — all thanks to trader “Song bird” McCain! And all this is just the tip of the proverbial ice Berg. Indeed, an eternity in hell is too good for a cockroach like this! They need to impeach him before he can do any further damage to our country. Whatever yoh do, don’t send him to CA. Arizona created this monster, by voting him into the House of Representatives, and then the U.S. Senate, instead of prosecuting him for the trader he is. Arizona created the problem, so they should be the one’s to own & fix their problem.
