Cantankerous Arizona Senator John McCain hasn’t mellowed at all after his diagnosis of brain cancer following removal of a tumor.
The 81-year old has been a persistent thorn in the side of President Donald Trump, even since the president was still a candidate working for the Republican nomination. McCain has steadfastly tried to distinguish the GOP as a party with separate values from those of Trump.
McCain keeps up his steady drumbeat of anti-Trump rhetoric, knowing the mainstream media will provide him with a megaphone any time he seeks one.
On Thursday, the self-styled maverick provided an op-ed to the Washington Post that continued to stake out his position vis-à-vis the president.

Patti Noah no they do not teach our children about how our government works any more, my son is a history professor and listening to him they educational systems do not care about how our country is run or our laws, but when you had a president for 8 years that decided to over rule and over ride what Congress did made Americans wake up and realize that it was time to take back our country and try and put it back on track. So when you have a high ranking father in the Navy, McCain felt he could push his way to greatness and could do what he wanted, just like that day he did not want to wait his turn to fly his mission and got mad and hit the wrong button and dropped his bombs on the deck of the ship that killed 113 crew members and he got off for what he did, he had no remorse.

Patti Noah : Where was your amazement everytime Obama went around Congress and used his “executive pen” to wrote his own laws ? Yes the Pres. can veto Congressional Laws and Congress can override a veto. But the bottom line is, McCain is a bitter old man who is now very sick, and he needs to resign instead of contiuously stabbing the POTUS in the back.
If he feels he should only answer to the American People, why the heck didn’t he do what the American people wanted and repeal and replace Obamacare? That is called Speaking With Forked Tongue,or backstabber, or traitor etc, take your pick.
