Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

This is just wrong!why do we let them get away with this? This is our history. Why is it offensive?
Jefferson Davis was a cowardly traitor that was wearing a dress when the North caught him. Why have a statue to him anyway ?
Trump will stop this
United States obviously has its own ISIS at work. Greatest country ever and it is being trashed .
Want to know who is offended now – bunches – you people are totally despicable
Until you remove remnants of our past it can’t be rewritten
