Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

They can try to change history or, wipe it out by removing statues, they are not going to be able to wipe the event out…It happened and it exists…these liberals don’t think beyond their noses…the Jeff Davis statue act now as a reminder that history cannot and should not be repeated….these nuts don’t see it that way…
Isn’t it odd that we will try and change history to pander to the politically correct dogma we have now? Our history is full of good and bad moments, but it is our history, and reminds us of what happened. Remember, Germany tried to erase its WW1 history, and WW2 happened. Let’s learn from our past, and move on.
