Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

Lincoln didn’t want to eliminate slavery, he only did so politically. Historical fact shows the north didn’t completely eliminate slavery until several years after the civil war, the Northern ports smuggled slaves into this country as well. Next your going to tell me that only whites owned slaves and that the only slaves were black. Educate yourself on this countries true history man. I don’t prescribe to revisionist history, unlike yourself.
