Caving in to outcries that they represent the South’s racist past, Greg Fenves, the president of the University of Texas in Austin, announced on Thursday that the statue of Jefferson Davis will be removed from the campus’s Main Mall and moved to the school’s Dolph Briscoe Center for American History.
The statue of Woodrow Wilson was moved as well to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”

How would they like if the MLK statue was removed along with his birthdate from the calendar and while we are at it how about black history month. We keep caving into these sensitive “But hurt lives matter” group and soon we will have no historical statues to teach our kids and grand kids the history of the United States of America.
There is not a person alive today that was a slave or owned a slave. How many more centuries are we going to go on living in the past. No wonder such a large percentage of black people live in poverty they live in the past with dead people and can’t look to the future to better themselves.
It is quite interesting that all this c**p came to a head when Obama took office. Do we vote in another black person again to see this happen all over again even if he is the best candidate for the job. I thought Obama would do good things to this country and boy was I wrong.
The more we give into them and take down statues the more they are going to demand. What next? Do we start burning all the history books?
