As Obama paved the way for Iran to create nuclear weapons through in 2015, a secret Iranian military playbook, translated by American defense experts, revealed a plan to attack America’s highly vulnerable electric grid with a nuclear EMP attack.
Reports indicate that if America’s power grid went down due to an EMP, 90% of the population would die within 18 months.
How prepared is Iran to make good on their plan?
An EMP attack is an assault on America’s power grid and electronics by detonating a nuclear bomb at high altitude. An EMP would completely fry all electronics, thrusting America back to the 18th century.
In order for Iran to carry out an EMP attack they would need a nuclear weapon, a missile capable of achieving the necessary altitude, anywhere from 25 to 250 miles above the Earth’s surface, and a platform to launch it.
Iran has at least 2 of these in place.

The problem with this theory is the US nuclear triad will still have command and control and retaliatory capability. As it was designed to survive a surprise direct nuclear strike. In less then a week the perpetrators will cease to exist.. 10’s of thousands of us forces that are deployed overseas and multiple carrier strike forces would be unaffected. NK has already detonated what some believe was an EMP specific weapon and domestically produce a SCUD C with a 700km range. This gives them the capability to carry out a successfully EMP strike on the US. American infrastructure destruction and extinction of the perpetrator is the best outcome these belligerent countries could ever hope to achieve…

And our USA diplomatic teams, John Kerry, etc., are in there working feverishly to have a hand in selling nuclear technology to Iran, thanks to our old “Atoms for Peace” goof-up in the 1950s? This is insanity, stop meeting with Iran officials, get out of there and focus on protecting our country and all Western democracies from this type of horror.

USA’s policy since developing the nuclear bomb has been to have alliances with friendly countries and have “cold war” to keep from going to “hot war” against other nuke powers. Meanwhile, the nonnuclear powers have been increasing gradually; Iran is probably next to get nukes. This would be the first Islamofascist power to get nukes. We should not allow this to occur. It’s not in the best interest of any existing nuclear power because Islamofascists want to destroy all nations on Earth and replace them with a “worldwide caliphate.” So all nuclear powers and all civilized nations should work to stop Iran’s nuclear programs immediately, and withdraw all support of such programs. They should never be entrusted with any nuclear technology or equipment, for any purpose whatsoever.
