Big brother is always watching, and as George Carlin proved, they’re not very good at taking a joke. After an appearance on the Jackie Gleason show in 1969, the FBI opened up an investigation on the comedian because of the way he talked about the bureau and its director in his famous Seven Dirty Words routine.
