Ex-Pussycat Dolls Member: “I Wasn’t in a Girl Group. I was in a Prostitution Ring”

Former Pussycat Dolls member Kayla Jones shared in a recent series of Tweets that the group was run like a prostitution ring.

In a shocking tweetstorm Friday, pop star and ex-Pussycat Dolls member Kaya Jones revealed her former group operated more like a prostitution ring,’ than a music group. The admission comes amid the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse bombshell.

“My truth. I wasn’t in a girl group. I was in a prostitution ring. Oh & we happened to sing & be famous. While everyone who owned us made the $.”

Jones continued, “To be apart of the team you must be a team player. Meaning sleep with whoever they say. If you dont they have nothing on you to leverage.”

Jones claims this dark practice also extended to the world of child stars.

“The children you messed with that survived the abuse, we are adults now. Are you ready old ones to fight? Cause you all are looking mighty old.”

I believe that both women and children are routinely abused in Hollywood/celebrity circles. You can find further proof of this here. Furthermore the situation Jones found herself had to have been both beyond soul-crushing and suffocating.

“Yes I said leverage. Meaning after they turn you out or get you hooked on drugs they use it against you. Correct. Victimizing the victim again.”

Jones suggests that executives encouraged members to develop drug addictions to keep them subservient. That is messed-up. No question. The situations these young stars face is horrendous, dehumanizing, and degrading.

But, at no point in our lives are we ever truly forced to give-up our sense of responsibility over our lives.

She may have been offered drugs by powerful figures trying to blackmail her, but she took them.

She may have been ordered to sleep with people or lose her job, but she presumably chose to comply at first.

I don’t buy that Kayla Jones is as naïve as she portrays herself. You have to know when you join a Burlesque troupe that your body will be exploited to profit the owners. But, her eyewitness accounts of the industry still merit listening as they serve as a warning to those who previously looked up to her.

The Pussycat Dolls was an American girl group and dance ensemble, founded in Los Angeles, California, by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995 as a burlesque troupe. After attracting media attention, Antin negotiated a record deal with Interscope Geffen A&M Records in 2003 turning the group into a music franchise comprising Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, Kaya Jones, and Kimberly Wyatt.

It seems hard to understand why a woman who witnessed the sickening abuse of Hollywood firsthand would choose to continue profiting off the brand.

Kaya Jones owns a beauty line called “Hollywood Doll” that she founded sometime after leaving the Pussycat Dolls.

Hollywood is terrible! I’ll gladly go on any TV station grateful to get a pro-Trump former celebrity of air BUT give me 20 bucks little girl to try and look like a Hollywood star beautiful enough to get pimped out like I was…

JUST BOYCOTT ALL THIS CRAP LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING FROM THE GETGO

Just like we might scratch our heads a bit over a girl being surprised a burlesque troupe operated like a sleazy prostitution ring… So is the idea that this is all “new” information surrounding hyper-sexualized pop groups is actually “new”. Seriously, who truly had no inkling of an idea that this sort of thing happened behind the scene?

These carefully choreographed music groups are meticulously choreographed agents of evil aimed at destroying society. STOP WATCHING.
