Twenty million people in the Sahel region of Africa are facing “chronic food insecurity and the need for government partners to help fight this hunger is critical”, yet our government is “spending $1.5 million to bring a “stove intervention” to Africa.” The EPA wants to bring clean stoves for cooking and lighting, spending vast amounts of tax payer dollars for a people who do not have enough food to cook.
