If Deep State is Not Trying to Kill Roger Stone, He Certainly Has a Lot of Bad Luck

It’s a sad fact that political assassinations remain a reality in various countries. It would be nice to think that the United States has moved beyond such criminality, yet there is no reason to believe we are immune. Careful and highly skilled security personnel protect those at the top of the political ladder, and the ultra-wealthy can afford their own security details, but for the vast majority of those in political positions, such protection is just not possible.

Roger Stone is a long-time associate and advisor to Donald Trump as well as being a Republican Party operative. He has previously claimed that he was a target for assassination after apparently being poisoned with polonium, and again made that claim when he was stuck by another vehicle in a very suspicious matter.

“I was driving on my way to a speech in Orlando later this afternoon, and my car was T-boned by a car coming out of nowhere, the windshield so darkly tinted you could not see who was inside the car,” Stone told Alex Jones following the accident. “It was starting — the airbags went off, they came it at the passenger door where I was seated.”

“And then the driver threw it in reverse, even though he had sustained some damage, and took off. There either were no plates or they were not identifiable.”

If Mr. Stone got his story correct, that is very suspicious. At the least, whomever hit him didn’t mind committing several crimes such as leaving the scene of an accident and driving without license plates.

The accident comes as Senator John McCain calls for Stone to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee regarding his alleged collusion with the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election.

Stone was previously the target of an assassination attempt in January.

Has Mr. Stone been targeted for assassination? And if so, by whom, and why have they hired assassins who cannot get the job done?  What does Senator McCain, who is no friend to President Trump, expect to hear from Mr. Stone should he end up testifying before the Senate intelligence committee as McCain desires?

There is too much here just to pass this off as collection of unrelated events with no apparent meaning. On the other hand, there is not enough known to make a definitive determination. Let’s hope Mr. Stone lives long enough for us to find out the truth of what has been happening.
