The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
This c**p needs to stop!! This is America – not the middle east. We eat BACON in America!!!!

The real problem is people like this restaurant owner who cave to they’re demands. Put your sign back up, make it even bigger.

The restaurant doesn’t have bacon? If that’s the case, I wouldn’t patronize the place. No bacon, no business from me!
If I owned that restaurant I’d have a lifesize statute of a pig outside and tell the world I excelled in pork dishes!
