Dr Vladislav Rogozov asked a surgeon to remove a headscarf that violated the rules. The doctor cited the rules that forbade such clothing in the surgical theater. He was fighting the behemoth of political correctness in defense of his patients and he was made to pay.

He said: ‘I came into the operating room, where I met the surgeon, a woman shrouded in a Muslim headscarf. I immediately stopped the operation of the hall and asked her to put down her scarf and replace it with the prescribed headgear.
‘After a long discussion held with respect, decency and factual arguments, the surgeon refused and left the operating room. We managed to subsequently find another surgeon who performed the operation.
‘After the end of the operating day other members of the surgical team came to me (in a low voice and with the door closed) to share their concerns about the threat to patient safety.’
Dr Rogozov claimed colleagues had long-standing concerns but added ‘no one dared to highlight this issue because they feared being accused of racism or intolerance’.
It was reported that the Islamist Surgeon, accused Dr Vladislav Rogozov of racial discrimination. Islam is not a race, but try explaining that to the hypersensitive crowd.
Dr Rogozov was found to have been correct after a hospital investigation.
They still suspended him for talking about it.

Westerville years experience in the operating room I know the important stuff maintaining as much to reality as possible. If the head scarf she was wearing had the possibility of falling into the sterile field or God forbid the abdominal cavity then that would cause basically a Health crisis for the person being operated on. The headgear and covering that they use in surgery is designed for that purpose. The cleaning and care of the head cover worn in a surgical situation is done under strict conditions. There’s nothing to prove that her head cover had anything to do with being properly cleansed. Thus the surgeon was right for asking her not to wear her head cover and use the traditional surgical clothing.
