Clinton Team Bragged About Killing Bloomberg Story Linking Clinton-Russia Collusion

Obviously proud of his achievement in blocking an unfavorable story, Jesse Lehrich boasted in a report on recent press actions about thwarting Bloomberg’s efforts to uncover Hillary’s opposition to the sanctions included in the Magnitsky Act.

With the help of the research team, we killed a Bloomberg story trying to link HRC’s opposition to the Magnitsky bill to a $500,000 speech that WJC gave in Moscow.”

The 2015 message, titled, “May 21st Nightly Press Traffic Summary,” was sent to the campaign’s “HRCRapid” Google group.

Unbelievably, in April 2015, the New York Times had reported on former President Bill Clinton being paid $500,000 for a speech in Moscow and its possible links to a deal in which the Russian government would eventually gain control of the Uranium One mining company. The information was based on what author Peter Schweitzer revealed in his best-seller book, Clinton Cash.

Clinton’s speech was paid for by an investment bank that was promoting Uranium One stock and had links to the Kremlin. The sale of the mining company gave Russia control of 20% of the United States’ uranium production capacity. Talk about the ultimate collusion! What we really see is outright treason.

Another factor in the Clinton’s cozy relationship with Russia was their opposition to the provisions of the Magnitsky Act.

The Magnitsky Act, strongly opposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is intended to sanction Russian officials accused of involvement in the 2009 death of Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky, an anti-corruption whistleblower who died in prison, allegedly after being beaten.”

Foreign Policy magazine noted that the Obama administration, with Hillary Clinton as its secretary of state, opposed the Magnitsky legislation when first introduced in 2010 by Democrat Senator Benjamin Cardin of Maryland.

Clinton helped lead the charge against the bill, the magazine reported. “The administration, starting with Hillary Clinton and then John Kerry, did everything they could do to stop the Magnitsky act,” said American hedge fund manager Bill Browder, who was instrumental in lobbying Congress in favor of the bill.”

That effort was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of Hillary Clinton machinations behind the scenes to promote pro-Russia initiatives. Obviously, she wanted to keep up the flow of funding to her reprobate husband and phony foundation.

Now with the furor over Donald Trump, Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer, the Magnitsky Act is back in the news. It’s doubtful there are any real journalists left at the legacy media outlets to go back and research its history. If they would, they could find out the real truth about which American political leaders have truly been colluding with Russia.
