Clinton: Electing Trump Could Cause Civil or Nuclear War

Hillary Clinton doesn’t think that Donald Trump is simply bad for America — she thinks he will destroy it.

“He has a dark and divisive vision for America that could tear our country apart,” Clinton said to supporters in Cincinnati, Ohio on Halloween.

Clinton specifically referred to the Civil War, suggesting that the country faced a similar threat of divisiveness from Donald Trump.

Clinton wasn’t satisfied with the suggestion of typical civil warfare, though. She decided to take her fear-mongering one step further, suggesting that Trump could wage nuclear war against his own people.

Clinton warned that Trump could bring the nation to war because of his unstable character.

“Imagine him in the Oval Office facing a real crisis,” she told her supporters. “Imagine him plunging us into a war because somebody got under his very thin skin.”

During an earlier rally in Kent, Ohio, she argued that Donald Trump, was unfit to hold the nuclear codes and could start a nuclear war.

These attacks are, of course, baseless and desperate — but they’re also highly ironic. If any of the two candidates are threatening to wage nuclear war, it’s Hillary Clinton. She voted for the war in Iraq, and her stint as Secretary of State deteriorated our relationship with Russia further than at any point since the Cold War.
