Donald Trump was widely denounced by the politicians on both sides of the aisle when he recently called for a cessation of Muslim immigration into the United States, citing the concern that terrorist groups in Syria were using the refugee program to gain entry into the U.S. in order to establish Islamic terror cells intent on harming the country.
Though Trump was derided by the political class as an extremist for his views and recommendations, in light of the recent murder of 14 victims in San Bernardino by an Islamic husband and wife team, the American public seems much more open to such a prohibition. This is especially true since immigration officials have admitted that they are not able to guarantee their vetting process will spot individuals with ties to terror groups.
New intelligence now suggests that Trump is right about the refugee program being used for the purpose of sneaking Muslim extremists into the country.
