It seems like Pope Francis is determined to see that his papacy is marked by an extraordinary level of controversy, much of it generated by him within the Catholic Church itself. While the Christian faith is no stranger to theological disputes since its inception 2,000 years ago, some periods have obviously been marked by more vigorous debates than others, much to the regret of devoted adherents to the Faith.
Yet Pope Francis doesn’t seem to be troubled by being the center of some very divisive disputes, or the fact that he is the one who has created them.
He has taken a strong position in favor of open immigration, and has made statements on theology that are in direct opposition to historic Christian doctrine such as his proclamation that all religions worship the same god.
He recently took a very charitable and supportive position on Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro, an avowed atheist, who just died.
But this time he may have really done it. See page two.

the pope is a dope
I recall reading a passage from the communist manual (I don’t have it with me, or I’d site chapter and page) where the communists call The Catholic Church a “great and terrible monster”. Why would Francis give ear to the enemy?
I see many people who comment on this thread, whether you like this pope or not, should be going to confession for the sake of your soul.
The Pope is nothing Christ-like and never has been. He’s a liar and the works (John 8:44) of his father (Lucifer/Devil/Satan) he is doing. Read Matthew 23 KJB. Believe THE GOSPEL and REPENT!
Caryn Michals That is a very profound statement and it seems to have been missed by most here. I happen to believe it is spot on. I personally believe this pope is the False Prophet , destined to serve the Anti Christ , uuumm well , he is doing that now for obama . Hmmmm .
they are forming up the One World Church to worship the Anti-Christ…
The government of China SHOULD NOT BE selecting anybody for the church
Amen, thank God there is some one to speak up. Me thinks this pop has lost his,
You have to go a long, long stretch to accept the Pope’s comment that Jesus was a refugee along with a few other ideas he has espoused. The Catholic Church needs to ask some serious questions of their Pope and themselves.
I wonder if this is factual.
