You know we’re in an upside-down world when a group linked with and supportive of terrorists tries to lecture a presidential candidate and government officials on the proper interpretation of the US Constitution. Yet that is precisely what CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is attempting to do with Donald Trump. Fearful that Trump might just win, and might just be unwilling to accept the injection of terrorism into America under the guise of religious freedom, has CAIR taking the offensive.
CAIR is not the sort of group to turn to when seeking to promote a just society based on constitutional foundations. As Breitbart news reports:
“CAIR is so closely entwined with Islamists and with jihadis that court documents and news reports show that at least five of its people — either board members, employees or former employees — have been jailed or repatriated for various financial and terror-related offenses.”
