USC’s mascot horse is under attack by a black social justice group on campus.
The horse is named “Traveler.” Robert E. Lee once had a horse similarly-named “Traveller.” This coincidence proves that the horse is a “sign of white supremacy,” according to the USC Black Student Assembly.
This story comes just days after ESPN pulled an Asian man named “Robert Lee” from calling a university football game. That seemed ridiculous because the man was Asian. But this time it literally a horse that’s being accused of racism.
