The World Economic Forum that meets in Davos, Switzerland is another globalist body that claims to have benevolent goals while pursing useless or unhelpful policies and strategies. Like most such groups including the UN, it looks to the US for some form of support while of taking pot-shots at its benefactor.
With the Obama administration within a couple of days of leaving office, Mr. Biden went to Davos to offer a farewell that, unsurprisingly, included jabs at Donald Trump and the Americans who supported him. Keep in mind both Mr. Biden and Mr. Obama are confirmed globalists. Biden claims to love the New World Order, and Mr. Obama is so enamored with world government that he has addressed UN stating that the nations of the world must submit to global government.
What was Mr. Biden's point? He is concerned that the world order and efforts to advance global government might collapse. His comments are pointed at both Russia and Donald Trump as enemies of the New World Order that he and his globalist colleagues so dearly love.
Vice President Joe Biden warned Wednesday that the “liberal international world order” is at risk of collapse, using his final speech to global leaders to frame the stakes on the world stage as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to take office.
Biden urged leaders in Europe and the U.S. to defend democracies against dangers that he said include Russian President Vladimir Putin. Biden, in remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland reported by CNBC, said Putin “has a different vision of the future,” and he accused the Russian leader of trying to “roll back decades of progress.”
“Russia is working with every tool available to them to whittle away at the edges of the European project, test for fault lines among Western nations, and return to a politics defined by spheres of influence,” Biden said.
None of these remarks come as a surprise. The word “progress” can mean whatever the speaker wants it to men, and we hear the familiar blaming of Russia by liberals. As an aside, it's interesting to observe how much the left loved the communist government of the Soviet Union. Now that the Soviet empire is gone, Russia no longer appeals to them.
In any event, it's clear that the target of Mr. Biden's remarks includes Donald Trump.
At least Biden does realize that the threats to his beloved New World Order are both potent and real. Unlike Biden, Obama, the Clintons, Soros, and other confirmed globalists, those Americans who treasure their freedoms should be encouraged be this movement against global government and be prepared to cheer it on.
The US, as a sovereign nation-state, has much to offer its citizens, and through friendly relations with other nations, the world as well. The New World Order and its globalist aficionados, in contrast, offer nothing positive to anyone other than the elite few who would run it. Its demise cannot come to quickly.
