Dr. Ben Carson has catapulted in the polls to be squarely in the second position overall, just behind Donald Trump. Some national polls have him in a slight lead over the billionaire businessman. In a recent in depth interview Carson spoke candidly about his positions on a number of issues.
So, just who is Ben Carson and what does he stand for? How does he feel about immigration policies, education, Obamacare, and the burdening debt crisis? What would he implement? And why is he running for President?

They aren’t friends. Carson was invited to speak at a ‘black’ event and was introduced by Sharpton, another attendee. Carson himself addressed this in his nightly question and answer session. I’m sure the posting is still available on his page.

Carson was on my watch list until he said that he and Sharpton wanted the same things, lost me and lots of others with that statement.
