The beautiful thing about America is that though its people have myriad differences between themselves and their neighbors, there is room for everybody to live the way they want to. So long as no one is hurt, citizens are free to operate and interact with others as they please. And of course, a big part of living is having a home to one’s liking.
Unfortunately, we have gone from the idea that a person’s home is their castle to the notion that one’s home is just another place for the government to stick its nose into. So not only are the possessions we keep in our houses subjected to their rule, but the very buildings we call home are as well.

Ann Palmer I’ve seen these shows and I’ve seen these tiny homes and people in Japan have larger quarters than this. It’s inhumane to begin with ( the size ) and I think the lawyers should be negotiating with the municipalities and the banks to put people into real homes that would otherwise be empty and fall victim to vandals and thieves. Building these homes have good intentions but my point was that we need to make mankind our priority. I personally donate food to the food banks every chance I get and I’m talking about hundreds of pounds at a clip and not just a can of peas and some macaroni. In winter I donate boxes of new Gloves, hats, scarves and blankets as besides food that’s what the homeless and poor need for a New York winter.
That is just terrible. What was the city’s reasoning. Poor people. Hope this builder never give up trying to help. Shame on them
