The beautiful thing about America is that though its people have myriad differences between themselves and their neighbors, there is room for everybody to live the way they want to. So long as no one is hurt, citizens are free to operate and interact with others as they please. And of course, a big part of living is having a home to one’s liking.
Unfortunately, we have gone from the idea that a person’s home is their castle to the notion that one’s home is just another place for the government to stick its nose into. So not only are the possessions we keep in our houses subjected to their rule, but the very buildings we call home are as well.

Thanks! I only read news from reputable sources on both sides of the spectrum.
I hear that. I truly didn’t know who put this out but I researched it after because I thought it was awesome. This guy is amazing with what he is doing. He saw a problem, was homeless himself in the past and realized that government doesn’t always move at the fastest pace so he came up with a solution. I hope he is able to carry on with his project. Please watch the video, they interview him, the people living in the houses and the government officials. It offers interesting perspectives from all sides. I was interested to hear what you thought as I know this is your field.
Why didn’t they allow another out of city non profit remove those shelters and take them to an area that approved them. Whoever funded these homes should sue the Council!!!!!
This has been your stupid is as stupid does moment of the day, stay tuned I am sure there are more to follow.
See if the government, keeps treating our milataty bad and ignores our vets and doesnt put any money into the milary for updated equipement, it weakens our Milatary and country , thats how to take over, abd make a OWO..
Military!
How cold hearted LA has become. To destroy the small places vets could call home, after those same vets had NO home! LA should be ashamed of themselves for this! I hope Californians get really pissed off at the officials who ordered this. AND, to not even let the vets get their few belongings and medication before hauling away homes is just the WORST act ever.
The notion of “land of the free” is an utter fucking joke. Let’s give refugees and illegal immigrants all the housing and healthcare they need. But$#%&!@*the American people. Makes perfect sense.
