The beautiful thing about America is that though its people have myriad differences between themselves and their neighbors, there is room for everybody to live the way they want to. So long as no one is hurt, citizens are free to operate and interact with others as they please. And of course, a big part of living is having a home to one’s liking.
Unfortunately, we have gone from the idea that a person’s home is their castle to the notion that one’s home is just another place for the government to stick its nose into. So not only are the possessions we keep in our houses subjected to their rule, but the very buildings we call home are as well.

Minority Democrats report these tiny homes, minority Democrat City Councilman orders the homes to be removed and destroyed, minority Democrats are the ones who are impacted by the order, and a minority Democrat Mayor / Military Veteran approves the eviction and destruction of Veterans homes. Nah, nothing to see here….move along. Liberal hypocrisy knows no limits……
Garcetti, a minority? Why because he claims his mother’s Mexican roots? Italian ones got him elected. His dad was bad enough but he is horrible. Didn’t realize he was a veteran. As for the article on LA, I worked there in the 90s when there were a lot of homeless. Aggressive beggars during the day. Wanted $$, no McD cards and definitely did not want to be referred to one of the great missions in LA. I made good money and gave to the Mission as often as I could. I now contribute to the ones in OC. Round ups to help homeless are invalidated because of alcohol and drug abuse. Often cause of homelessness. I think the parking of these mini homes was listed as an issue. The city could have commandeered one of the thousands of parking lots for them.
