The flood of refugees from the Middle East and Africa threatens to overwhelm several European countries, and there is no reasonable way that these countries can be sure that the immigrants are not radicalized Muslims coming in to convert additional jihadis and to carry out additional terrorist acts. In addition, the immigrants, radicalized Muslims or not, have been decidedly ungracious to the people who are opening up their countries and supplying them with food, shelter, clothing, and even jobs, often to the shortchanging of their own native population. And it seems the demands never cease, nor the recognition that the lands they have come to are not their lands nor their culture. So, for example, there has been a vociferous demand for the government in Athens, Greece to build a large mosque, using public money.
Greece is close to bankruptcy, and it is exceedingly unlikely that a Christian or a Jewish group would demand that the government erect a huge religious edifice for them using public funds. But such is the nature of the Muslim refugees, and such is the PC nature of the Greek government to actually agree to the demands.
Officials in Athens demand that a mosque be build in order to stave off radicalization, claiming that it will keep proselytization out of ‘ dark and unofficial places’.
Government officials fear that the delays in constructing a mosque in Athens, a process that has been beset by legal complications, could allow radical Islam to flourish in the capital.
“Every day that we do not have an official mosque and imam in Athens, we pay for in the increased risk of the radicalization of Muslims in the dark and unofficial places of worship,” an official at the Education and Religious Affairs Ministry who wished to remain anonymous told Kathimerini, referring to dozens of basements that have been converted into makeshift mosques.
“It is exactly because of the recent terrorist attacks that we have to move quickly to construct the mosque in Athens,” said the official. “The state has to have an official interlocutor who represents the various branches of Islam. When you do not have official places of worship, who can you speak with?”
This is not the only example of insane acquiescence and government PC response to the invading hordes of Muslims into western Europe. In fact, the Muslim emigres have often brought with them an attitude of conquering and oppressing the host countries, including a culture of rape of local women that is quite stunning.
For example, it was recently discovered that a Muslim male population of 2% in Sweden is responsible for 77% of the rapes committed in that country. In Germany, the government has even put out a website to graphically show migrants how to have sex with white women.
Will you see these problems and outrages reported in the New York Times? Not likely. What if the same thing occurred and the perpetrators were Amish young men from Pennsylvania? Of course it would cause a firestorm of indignation and demands that the guilty be rounded up and punished. But Islam is still being reported as a religion of peace that cannot be questioned, though that will have to change.
For now, Western governments are pandering to the Islamic hordes, and their sense of self preservation does not seem to have kicked in. One hopes they will realize what is happening before it is too late. For now it seems that the only religions that are seen as objectionable to Western governments and anti religion groups are Christianity and Judaism. And last time I checked, they were not launching terrorists attacks anywhere in the world.
