While Donald Trump isn’t running away with the nomination the way which his poll numbers may have suggested, he still has a commanding lead over his rivals, especially in the delegate count, and his momentum seems to once again be building. Still, the majority of the electorate have voted for someone other than Trump, and pundits have remained steadfast that the winnowing field would turn the tide against Trump in the long run.
Now that the winnowing has begun, however, people seem more convinced than ever that Trump, as the nominee, can win the general election.
While his support remains in the 30s, the amount of people who believe that Donald Trump can win the general remains much higher than any other candidate.
Considering the huge disparity between the two figures, it seems as if even those who aren’t voting Trump agree that he can take on Hillary Clinton should he be the nominee.
How many businesses of his failed and how many times has he filed for bankruptcy. Not some one I want in DC.

I am so tired of the news medias, Fox, CNN bringing the republican politicians on there shows and trashing Trump, and pushing Rubo. Rep Darrell Issa was the worst this morning on CNN. And we all know why they are standing behind Rubio and trashing Trump. I truly hope the voters opens there eyes to what is going on in the media.

Jason- you are wrong. The fact that even though he had business struggles and bankruptcies he has the experience needed because he turned it all around to be profitable and successful ! That is a huge accomplishment and a + not a – when we are over 19 Trillion dollars in the red. He is the only candidate that is not excepting donations, or money from PAC’s/special interests groups.
