Donald Trump may not have the nomination yet, but the GOP seems to be convinced that, if he does, he can win the whole thing.
Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has already won about 33% of support from Republican voters in the polls and early voting states. His rallies are filled with women, men, military veterans, Christians, wealthy retirees and blue-collar workers.
Trump’s critics have said for months that he’ll never be able to grow his lead with all of the controversies he’s had, like with Pope Francis recently, skipping the Iowa debate and his attack on former President George W. Bush.
According to a recent AP-GfK poll that just came out, Republican voters and those thinking of voting Republican say Trump is the best candidate to handle the issues. They also say Trump is the most decisive and competent for the job of president.
More Republicans say they would vote for Trump than those who say they wouldn’t. 86% of GOP voters believe Trump can win the general election, which puts him 15% point ahead of his closest rival.
If more Republican candidates drop out after the Nevada caucuses and Super Tuesday, then Trump will likely increase his lead even more.
“He understands what the problems are and he conveys that in a way that attracts blacks, whites and Democrats and Jews and Christians and independents and a lot of conservatives and a lot of evangelicals,” Ed McMullen said, who is a co-chairman for the Trump campaign in South Carolina. “When you really assess the base of who’s out there for Mr. Trump and why it’s there, it’s there because he’s got the message that they’re looking for.”
This news is no doubt good for Donald Trump, who, since the beginning, has been attacked as an unelectable candidate in a primary election. If this poll stands to be correct, it seems as if those who would carry the billionaire businessman to the presidency seem to believe that he can do it.

In Every Republican primary so far, at LEAST 65% of Republican voters have voted against Trump. That’s not a majority, it’s a plurality…meaning if it’s ever one-on-one, Trump v. Rubio, Trump is going to get his clock cleaned…which is Exactly what Hillary will do to him in the Fall….he’s alienated women, Hispanics, handicapped, Asians, and he’s not done yet. Go ahead and vote for Trump and get ready to kiss the White House, the Senate, and therefore the Supreme Court…goodbye. Then get ready to see the Second Amendment dismantled by victorious Democrats.
