This must be disappointing for illegals looking to suckle on American rights and entitlements without the hassle of actually becoming Americans or troubling to pay taxes like the rest of us.

Mexico should actually get behind efforts to secure the border.
Reason being that if they dump enough of their citizens into the US they will seriously destabilize the US (moreso than they have already).
Mexicans should think about that…..a destabilized nuclear power treating itself apart right across the border.

Also, the thing all of the anchor baby supporters like to ignore is that little phrase in the amendment that reads “subject to the jurisdiction thereof”.
The guy who wrote the amendment even stated that the children of foreign nationals were not covered by that amendment should they be born in the US.
They are subject to the jurisdiction of the country their parents are from unless those parents become US citizens.
Now if we could just see it enforced…..
