Illegal immigrants have just been shown the door. A federal court judge has erred on the side of reason, deciding that the children of illegal immigrants are not entitled to US citizenship. This must be disappointing for illegals looking to suckle on American rights and entitlements without the hassle of actually becoming Americans or troubling to pay taxes like the rest of us.

Were the children born here? If yes, then they are citizens regardless of their parents status. Born outside the U.S.? They go back with the parents.
So if illegals come here illegally when they are about to have a baby and have that baby here you want them to get all the welfare, food stamps and other assistance paid for by your and my tax dollars when they have never paid a dime into the system??? You are an idiot and part of the problem. To get that assistance they had damned well be born to people who are citizens. An illegal immigrant mother and father who got into this country illegally and are still illegal cannot produce a baby that is legal when you look at it from a moral standpoint. How about all of your social security retirement payments go for paying the welfare and food stamps and everything else they want since you think they should be entitled to it???
Sorry, but you’re wrong, “John Taylor.” The specific clause in the 14th Amendment “Subject to the jurisdiction” means that illegal aliens, who are not lawfully admitted to the US are not subject to the jurisdiction of the Constitution, and therefore neither are their progeny. Just as the children of diplomats from other countries born in the US are not automatically granted US citizenship, neither should the children of illegal aliens, or any one coming to the US for “citizenship tourism”.
