Somehow, certain politicians have gotten the idea that voting, no matter how uninformed a voter is, has great merit. Or perhaps they feel that they can sway the uninformed voter. In California, the legislature just passed a bill that will automatically register to vote everyone who goes to renew their drivers license.
In addition, California recently passed a bill allowing non-citizens to get California drivers licenses, and it is not clear how these non-citizens will be excluded from the automatic voter registration program. And now there is even more room for worry.

Don’t know many 16 year olds have the knowledge necessary to cast a reasonable vote. Hell, I know people up in their 60’s that can’t make an educated decision. Libturds!!!!
