If you go to any college campus today and ask the question, “Who founded the Ku Klux Klan?” you will always receive the same knee-jerk answer: The Republican Party.
However, the truth of the matter is that the Democrat Party began to form the Ku Klux Klan as an impromptu league of southern gentlemen from the dust and smoky remains of the Confederate Army after the end of the Civil War, ALL OF WHOM WERE DEMOCRATS.
It is historical fact that the Democrat Party stood against the equality of Black Americans, using the Klan to hunt down and lynch any Blacks on their way to polling places. It was widely known back then that a Black man on his way to vote was invariably voting Republican. Therefore, Democrats in Klan outfits, would stop them “dead” in their tracks. At times, White Republicans, in an effort to escort Blacks to the polls, would be lynched alongside their African-American counterparts!

Well, he didn’t check Fox News as a source because they CONFIRMED the New York Times report! So, Sean Hannity, you win Trump’s “F**e News Award”!
