Even though this is technically not a Leftist lie that all of them tell because it’s easily proven otherwise, it is nevertheless a fact that more than 80% of grade and high school students, as well as college students, believe that the president who made the Gettysburg Address and signed the Emancipation Proclamation to free the slaves in America, and who later paid with his life after being shot by a Democrat actor in the back of the head in Ford’s Theatre, was a Democrat.
As pathetic as it might seem, even those who were taught in the 1950s and 1960s before the big push by Leftists to hijack the Republican-led Civil Rights and integration movements, believe today that Lincoln was a Democrat. The twisting and revisionist versions of historical content is the single greatest tool of the Regressive Party to combat the fact that they supported slavery and the continued inequality of Black Americans!
