Jones: George Bush Canceled the X-Files In 2002 Because of 9/11 Conspiracies

The classic television show, the X-Files, that first aired from 1993 to 2002, has been brought back. Blogger John Vibes explained how the show used to touch on government conspiracies in the form of UFO and alien cover-ups, but that X-Files creator Chris Carter said Edward Snowden and issues like the 9/11 conspiracy will be “fair game” in this new revival of the show.

Carter went on to explain in an article by Entertainment weekly, his dejection with our rights and liberties being signed away, and how nobody seems to care. He went on to say, “What it’s(the show) done for me and the writers it has given us a whole new open field in which to run.”

He added that the idea of the New World Order is relevant in the series, and that these are not things they are making up.

Why would Carter say the conspiracies would be “fair game” in this new revival? Was there a possibility they weren’t in the past?
