World’s First Baby Given Health Card With Sex Designation ‘U’

Kori Doty is a mom who appears to be a dad.  This mother/father, who identifies as non-binary trans (apparently meaning s[he] is not one person?) has had a baby (no word on how s[he] managed to get pregnant, considering s[he] is not female) and the baby is a healthy, bouncing baby…

Well, we’re apparently unable to determine that.  According to the reports, not only was a genital inspection not performed at birth, but the mother/father has said that Searyl Atli Doty (the baby) is neither male nor female.  Seriously.

A Canadian baby has been issued a health document that doesn’t specify male or female, in what campaigners are claiming is a possible “world first.”

Searyl Atli Doty was born in British Columbia, “outside the medical system,” and did not undergo a genital inspection after birth, campaign group Gender Free I.D. Coalition said in a statement. The group’s vision, stated on its website, is “to remove all gender/sex designations from identity documents.”

Parent Kori Doty wants to avoid assigning gender to the child. Doty identifies as non-binary trans: According to GLAAD, non-binary is a term to describe people whose gender identity falls outside the categories of man and woman. Trans, short for transgender, describes people whose gender identity doesn’t match the sex or gender they were assigned at birth.

“It is up to Searyl to decide how they identify, when they are old enough to develop their own gender identity,” Doty said in the statement. “I am not going to foreclose their choices based on an arbitrary assignment of gender at birth based on an inspection of their genitals.”

Despite difficulties in obtaining a birth certificate, a health card for the baby with the sex listed as “U” has been issued, with the coalition saying it arrived one day “without explanation.” An image of the card shared by the parent includes the “U” designation and the child’s name; it says the child was born in November and the card was issued in April.

Health cards entitle Canadians to use of public health care services and need to be shown each time a medical service is used. Canada has a universal health-care system paid for by taxes, and the cards themselves are the responsibility of the individual Canadian provinces.

The Gender Free I.D. Coalition believes that the “U” stands for “unspecified or unknown” and that Searyl is the first child to be registered in such a way without sex or gender being specified.

I’m thinking that the “U” stands for “Unable to get a straight (no pun intended) answer out of the deranged parent.”  This Gender Free I.D. Coalition is proud that this is the first child to be registered as a non-binary babe.  Let’s be honest, this was completely the aim from the very beginning, because this group needed the exposure and the mom/dad needed monetary support.  There’s no other reason for this but to do and say the most outrageous things that will get you a stint on CNN.  Mission accomplished!

British Columbia’s Ministry of Health did not respond to requests for comment.

The desire to omit a designated gender on the card was partly motivated through Doty’s personal experiences.

“When I was born, doctors looked at my genitals and made assumptions about who I would be, and those assignments followed me and followed my identification throughout my life,” Doty told CBC.

“Those assumptions were incorrect, and I ended up having to do a lot of adjustments since then.”

Separately, Doty is one of eight complainants in a case being heard by British Columbia’s Human Rights Tribunal, according to the Gender Free I.D. Coalition.

The complainants are seeking to have gender designation removed from all new birth certificates.

Initially, Doty was unable to receive a medical number for the baby. The child has also been denied a birth certificate.

Fear not.  As a Liberal and (now) card-carrying lunatic, you have the ability to hire a lawyer to sue the hell out of the government and anyone else who gets in the way of you messing up your baby’s whole identity for the rest of his/her life.  Yes, you’re making a point, but have you thought about the misery that you will be bringing to your child who may want to play with tools (but that will identify as a boy) or play with dolls (but that will identify as a girl) and…well…you’ll just have to ban all gender-specific toys (thank God the Barbie dolls and G.I. Joe dolls have no genitals, or else there might be a lawsuit in the wings there, too).

So, it’s off to the attorney.  But not just any attorney…oh, no!  For a case this special, we’re going to need a freakazoid lawyer who doesn’t use capital letters in her name!

Doty’s lawyer, barbara findlay (who does not use capital letters to spell her name), told CBC that birth certificates in British Columbia use only male or female designations. findlay did not respond to CNN’s requests for comment.

Doty has applied for judicial review of the decision denying Searyl a birth certificate, supported by the Gender Free I.D. Coalition.

The parent will argue that “requiring a gender marker” violates the baby’s rights “as a Canadian citizen to life, liberty and security of the person.”

“I want my kid to have all of the space to be the most whole and complete person that they can be,” Doty told CBC.

“Whole and complete.”  It would seem to me that not being sure of whether you’re a male or a female is pretty unwholesome and incomplete.  What happens when this baby grows a little older and wants to know why he has a penis?  Will the answer be, “Well, why do you think you have one?” or “No one knows for sure.  Not even your mommy/daddy.”  What happens when the child develops ovarian cancer?  Do you advise the child not to see a female anatomy specialist because she’s not a female?

This type of behavior is a mental illness.  This is child abuse at its very worst because the government is advocating it on behalf of a very sick individual who is in charge of this baby’s welfare.  The government is worsening the situation by entertaining the delusions of the man/woman.  It’s sick and it’s a colossal disservice to the taxpayers who are supporting this crap.

The baby will become a sideshow attraction for what?  The parent’s wishes for fame?  The fact that the card was even issued without a designation is a hint right there that something is very wrong with the government office staff.  In the United States, this would be considered an unstable and even dangerous environment for the baby.  Child Protective Services would be out there in a heartbeat to see what the heck is wrong with this scenario.

I feel sorry for the family that must be agonizing over their daughter/son’s decision to drag their baby down into the depths of a hell that not even the government will be able to dig itself out of, especially after this grabs hold of the unhinged Leftists in this country.  Goodbye, sanity.
