Police in Beloit, Wisconsin, are asking residents to voluntarily allow police to search their home for guns.
Police Chief Norm Jacobs states that he hopes the request will not only help people ‘think differently about gun violence,’ but he also hopes that searches will lead to the “discovery of guns they didn’t know were in their own homes.”

Hey now I wonder just how many guns I have misplaced in my home recently… Let me guess, maybe NONE. If I owned a gun I would know where it was and not forget it was just laying about somewhere. Just how many people go about mis-placing their guns? Sorry but we can not allow the Gestapo tactics to stand, or we will watch our wonderful country fall beneath the heel of tyranny, and countless American lives will be lost in the process.

Having published a paper in 2007 on this subject, this “study” makes a mess of the whole thing. They compared seated only to changing position which doesn’t answer anything. The research indicated that all seated or all standing climbing produces the same physiologic response. The conclusion GCN drew were contrary to what their N of 1 data showed and all but meaningless.
Couldn’t get it.
