Police in Beloit, Wisconsin, are asking residents to voluntarily allow police to search their home for guns.
Police Chief Norm Jacobs states that he hopes the request will not only help people ‘think differently about gun violence,’ but he also hopes that searches will lead to the “discovery of guns they didn’t know were in their own homes.”

The United States is the most armed citizenry country in the world…maybe that’s why we rank 111th in the murder rate…that makes for a simple equation…MORE GUNS = LESS CRIME…VERY SIMPLE!
I know of one case where a 16 year old was STUPIDLY holding a stolen revolver for a “friend” who was under close police scrutiny. His parents had no idea until one of his siblings discovered it. Fortunately the situation was resolved once the parents became aware. This problem does exist obviously..and if people want to take advantage of such a police search..more power to them. The problem is still not the GUN…..it is the PEOPLE involved.
OMG I THINK NOT!!!!! I proudly own guns and what happens on my house is just that we have the right to carry /own fire arms in America this is such a waste of tax payers money!

Serioulsy? Do they honestly think that’s good idea? When you give permission for the police to search your home, don’t you think they are looking for anything and everything?
