Waters: Taking Off Gloves to Fight Trump, Wants to Lock Him Up

Speaking at the Essence Festival in New Orleans last Saturday, Waters urged the crowd to get active and work for the president’s impeachment.

I have taken off the gloves,” Waters said. “I don’t honor him, I don’t respect him and I am not going to tolerate him. I am going to do everything I can do to get him impeached.”

In general, the congresswoman never specifies any grounds for impeachment, other than the fact that she doesn’t like President Trump.

She expressed her dismay with candidate Trump’s supporters chanting “lock her up” at campaign rallies when he would mention his opponent, Hillary Clinton. Waters accused the president of “stalking” her. That’s when she took it up a notch and declared:

We’re going to lock him up!”

The TDS symptoms then kicked into high gear as she urged the audience to get active in opposing the Trump administration.

We can do this, you all, but we’ve got to stand up. I want you to rally. I want you to tweet. I want you to go on Facebook. I want you to write to your elected officials. I want you to do everything, whether it’s in a church, or whether it’s in a meeting of any kind,” she said. “If you’re with the labor unions, etc., get busy. And keep going until we do what needs to be done.”

As she usually does at speeches, she then led the crowd in chants of “Impeach 45.”

Not wanting to let the opportunity slide to get Russia into the TDS mix, Water then suggested President Trump should be exiled to Russia. It appears she wants to follow the example of French politics instead of the United States Constitution.

Waters’ irresponsible rhetoric simply contributes to the poisoned atmosphere against the president and Republicans that recently led to the attempted assassination of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana.

When it comes to talking about locking someone up, perhaps Ms. Waters should cool down her tone and look in the mirror. Four times she’s been listed among the most Corrupt in Congress by the Citizens For Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).

In addition to her far-left politics regarding President Trump, Waters has been a vocal advocate for Fidel Castro and embraced the conspiracy theory that the CIA created the crack epidemic in urban neighborhoods. She also was a leading apologist for the violence in the 1992 Los Angeles riots following the Rodney King incident in which 58 people died.
