Obama’s planned use of the military against American citizens has now gained substantial acknowledgment in the mainstream media by a report in The Washington Times earlier this year entitled: “Inside the Ring: Directive outlines Obama’s plan to use the military against citizens”
2010 Pentagon Directive No. 3025.18, “Defense Support of Civil Authorities,” gives Obama authority to violate the Posse Comitatus Act – using our own troops against us on American soil.
“This appears to be the latest step in the administration’s decision to use force within the United States against its citizens,” said one defense official opposed to the directive.

As a vet myself I would be very surprised and disappointed in our military if they even thought about following orders to take up arms against fellow americans

Patrick McClung Military members have families, too. If martial law occurred, it would happen in their home towns, and every military man would go home to protect his family. Besides, Obama has alienated this army with pay cuts, sequesters, and disrespect. He’ll get no cooperation from them, especially with only three months or so left in the presidency.

Butch Pelch ,he needs just cause to initiate martial law. Any order given to bear arms against American Citizens by the Military of the United States of America, can be deemed an unlawful order, and rather than be obeyed, the issuing authority can be arrested for it. Ask Lieutenant Calley, Vietnam, My Lai Massacre about giving unlawful orders. Just because no one likes him, doesn’t give him reason to initiate it. States Police and Local Law Enforcement need to be in dire straits to require it.
