A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

Every day I stop to imagine how great this country would be if a handful of farmers would of come up with a better way to pick it’s cotton without black labor. No Detroit, Baltimore, Furgerson etc.
Yeah because that’s equal isn’t it? Oh they have equal rights but still aren’t happy? Imagine that….I have a dream, that one day all black people will wake up and realize they are equal and have been. That THEY are the ones keeping their ilk in poverty and have every single opportunity that a white kid has growing up to get out of it and make something of themselves. It’s always someone else’s fault in their street culture, never their own
