A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

The racial divide is widened by anyone that proposes something as ridiculous as this. We need something or someone to unite us as a country. Obama, being the first black president, was in the position to do just that. What a waste that has turned out to be. Our country couldn’t be more divided under his leadership or lack there of.
