A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

The past two presidential elections majority of blacks voted for Obama and look at the major cities that are ran by blacks that were voted in by blacks.. And tell me if their votes should count as two!! People need to vote both whites and blacks!! But it seems to me that if the one some don’t want in office gets it, its a racist thing.. I say get rid of the Democratic and Republican parties and everyone run Independent!! If people think they care for us they are wrong.. People ha e been voting Democrat their whole life and are still as poor as they were the first time they voted!!
