A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

It’s still a problem . With Sharpton , Jackosn , and the rest they cause more problems burning our towns . They yell jump and we say how high . People need to be aware of their surroundings. We have no idea how many home grown Muslums that are here . We have no idea how many illegals and Muslums from other countries are here . We only have 50 states . Divide all of them into all the multi millions and tell me what do we have . Now tell us that is irrelevant.
